"All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy."

According to the Fable there was a hardworking Ant and a lazy grasshopper. In summer time Ant was working hard for stock food for the winter but grasshopper didn’t work. He was busy enjoying summer. However, when winter came and had a lot of food but grasshopper didn't have any food. Therefore he begs some food from the ant but the unfriendly Ant was laughing and didn't give him anything. As a result the grasshopper had to die for that reason. This story teaches us if you work hard, you can have a better life.
According to the Maugham's there was two brothers Tom and Gorge. Gorge was hard worker. He always went to his office regularly. He never had vacation in his life. On the other hand Tom was a lazy guy. He didn't like to work. Therefore he left his wife and two children and his job. He wanted to enjoy himself. He took a lot of money from his brother Gorge by cheat. End of the story he got marry a rich old women who gave him lot-of money after she die. Therefore he got rich without hard work.
I think Maugham's story and the Fable is not the same. They have two different results. In the Fable teach us no pain no gain. On the other hand in the Maugham teach us we can gain with out pain.
I agree with Fable because, no one can’t win without hard work. There is no other way without handwork for win in our life. For example a student can’t pass any class if he don't hard work. Children can’t talk or walk if he doesn’t try to do it. Therefore every person must have to do hard work to achieve in right the place in life even though is relay hard for present world.

"The Ant and the Grasshopper," by W. Somerset Maugh "

I think Maugham's story is not full same from the message in the Aesop fable of the ant and the grasshopper.in the end of the story it was different then the Ant and the Grasshopper".
In the story Gorge Character was same like the Ant. He worked like the Ant.He always went to his office. He never took vacation for four weeks.what he got at last is he can have thirty thousand pounds by the time he is fifty.
His brother tom character was same like the Grasshopper. He didn't like to work. He didn't think about his future. He wanted to enjoy himself.therefore he left his wife, children and office. He did blackmail with his brother Jorge. But end of the story it was different then the Grasshopper. The Grasshopper didn't save anything for his future therefore he didn't get any thing when he was need food.As a result he had to die. But tom got married with an old rich woman.therefore he got rich after she die.As a result he got rich without hardworking.

The Friendship Bond

According to "the friendship bond" friendship is always well and alive. In my opinion people are lonely in the big cities, because they don't have enough time to find out a friend for him/her.Therefore when they get sometimes after their work they becomes lonely, because they don't have any friend in the cities.i think people don't try to make fried in big cities because they cant believe people easily.therefore they scared to make friend because of that.
Human always needs friend to be alive and get better life.A person cant be happy with out friend in his/her life without a friend. But we have to careful with making a friend, because a friend can give you a nice life also a friend can give you a bad life.

Morton got scared to listen joeys fathers talk.then Morton bring his family out of the park. Morton told Larry to be stop because he was crying.

A conflict

one day i had a conflict with a black guy in the sub way. i took E train to go my work. I got in train then i was trying to sit. i saw a sit besides a black guy. therefore i went there and trying to sit but the sit was too tight.therefore i told him to give me some space because he took a lot of space. He didn't need that much space. But he didn't listening me.then i request him again but he didn't care about me.therefore i was sit besides him and push him with my body then he move and trying to fight with me.I was so scared of him because i was new in USA at that time and i didn't understand English as well. summary and opinion

I think the reading was clearer then book because it’s easy to understand. The author was trying to give us short note about Henrietta’s cells.
I really enjoy reading those reading. I would like to read more same kinds of reading.

Summary- Heals cell becomes very important when they started to began developing the medicine. Hela cells were made by the code name Hela. Her cells was very important for develop the polio vaccine, cloning, gene mapping and in vitro fertilization. In 1988 Rebecca introduce with Henrietta in her biology class by her teacher. Her teacher only knew Henrietta’s real name and she was black.
Henrietta’s daughter Deborah didn’t know anything about that because she was child when Hela died. Therefore when she found out her mothers cells still a live she was surprised to know it. Furthermore a lot of company made a lot of money by Hela cells even though, her family didn’t get a single penny

pg 136 to 176

In the 1960s scientists say the HeLa cells are becoming strong. It is very resilient and can survive in many situations. They mixed these cells with dead or sick cells. Henrietta's older 2 sons were doing good on their own. Her daughter is pregnant at 16 years old. She becomes a violent mother and beats her child. Joe dropped out of school at 7th grade and is in jail for murder. Gey is working on human genes to clone. Lawrence is the only child that remembers Henrietta. In 1970 Gey gets cancer. He wants to use his cells like hers for cancer. The surgeons think taking the cancer out will kill him. Later, Gey dies.

Impression:
The children of Henrietta are not doing too well overall. Also the scientist are doing injustice with the testing.

Question:
What caused Henrietta's children to become terrible?

pg 93 to 136

After Henrietta's death the largest historical polio epidemic in history took place. Scientists began to make HeLa cells to stop the polio with out crediting Henrietta. Many people believed that the cells came from a woman named Helen Lane. Jerome Syverton wrote letters to Gey to complain about this situation but Gey believed it was protecting Henrietta's identity. After her death, her children were raised by Day and Ethel who hate Henrietta. They do not know what happened to her and are not told. Cootie says during an interview that Henrietta is not talked about in the family. This is because they do not talk about relatives that have pasted away. The HeLa cells are tested on rats and criminals. These criminals are used as lab rats.

Impression:
I was speechless when I hear about the injustice that they does to Henrietta. Also, they treat the criminal very cruel.

Question:
How did they get away with testing on people without law officials say anything?

summarypg (35-66)

According to the book, Henrietta s cells were taken by DR Gey. He took her cells and gave to marry who was worked in his lab with him. They keeps it in lab to let it grows. They did a lot of research of her cells but they didn’t succeed. They was open a lab for research cells when they was graduate from college. They started to collect umbilical cord blood, cow fetuses and chicken blood for research and let cells to grow up. But they weren’t succeeded of it even though they were doing it for several years. When Marry saw Henrietta’s cells was growing, she told it to gey. Then Gey traces it was alive for several years. They were research a lot about it but they weren’t succeeded. Even though Henrietta didn’t know they were doing research with her cells.
After finished her treatments, she went back home and started doing usual family life. She was doing taking care of children’s, work at the tobacco fields, and dance after her children go to sleep. Therefore nobody knew she was sick. After two weeks she felt bad her inside. Therefore she told her cousins, she need to X-ray therapy every weekday for a month.
Author called to Roland Patella who was one of the students of Gey. She shows many reasons for get her number. Finally she found out Henrietta’s daughter, Deborah’s numbers. But she didn’t want to talk about it then she gave her brother number to author. Therefore they also didn’t talk about it. Gey show Henrietta’s cells to scientists, because it will need to search cancer. When she knew her cells will make her immortal, she felt happy, because her cells will help to save the lives of countless people.
I think she was really a kindful woman, because she felt happy to give her cells for countless people. We can’t find out any women like her.

Why they didn’t succeed to research of umbilical cord blood?

summery of THE Immortal life of Henrietta Lacks(pg 1-33)

According to the book author Rebecca skloot knew Henrietta lakes from her biology instructoutr. She was interested anything about her, because she gave her immortal calls to benefit for people, but nobody don’t know her. Lack’s daughter Deborah said the hospital just took her mothers cells with out her permission. They didn’t give them any money for her cells. Even though, they made a lot of money by it. Henrietta lacks found out something bad in her womb when she had pregnant with her fifth child, therefore she decided to go to Hopkins hospital which is the only for colored patient to do the exam. Because of that time colored people was divided to white people. They were separate from everything. Therefore Henrietta was examined at the gynecology clinic at jones hospital by Dr.

Henrietta lack’s mothers died and her nine brother and sister to live amongst their relatives Henrietta was sent to live with her grand father.

Henrietta undergoes radium treatment and sugarberry for her cancer what was known about cancer at that time the other was described. They took two tissue sample from her body before her tumer removed.

I learned about discrimination between colored and white people and also I learned about cancer by read those chapters.

Is it ok to take cells from anyone’s body with out his/her permission?
